The first camera in the world, which can monitor the road surface two-dimensionally. Even without installing it into the road surface, it can monitor, whether the road is wet, covered in snow or ice and it can detect road passability. With 6x6m range/scale, it provides 4096x more information than ordinary cameras.

The new meteorological camera is able to detect very complicated road situations, check the hard shoulders and the road status in the vehicle track. The temperature, humidity and road surface is measured in 4,096 different points.
